Charges in London police courts of "drunk and disorderly” and other similar offences have decreased by more than 50 per cent, compared with prewar days. Mrs Lillian Pawlowski obtained a divorce from her husband at Chicago. The husband then married her mother, so that he becomes his former wife’s stepfather.
