Feilding Magistrate's Court

FORTNIGHTLY SITTING The fortnightly sitting of the Feilding Magistrate’s Court was held yesterday, Mr R. M. Watson, B.M. presiding.

For allowing a cow to stray on a public highway, W. Castlcton was lined. 10s, with 12s costs. I. L. Probble was prosecuted by Inspector Berry for driving an unregistered motor lorry. Bx was lined 80s, costs 12s, and was allowed four weeks in which to pay. T. 11. Jones, for grazing stock on a public highway at Tangimoana, was proceeded against by Inspector Berry. After hearing evidence, the information was dismissed. , Frank Hill was convicted and sentenced to. 28 days in the Wanganui gaol, to be released on payment of£s from arrears owing, for disobedience of an order under the Destitute Persons’ Act.
