Indian Religions Bathers Drowned

ENTERED POOL DESPITE WARNING United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 7.30 p.m. CALCUTTA, Oct. 3.

Swept into a whirlpool by a, strong current at the foot of the famous Courtallum waterfalls, in south India, 13 of a party of 31 religious bathers were drowned. The waterfalls were reinforced by millions of tons of water, due to abnormal rains. The bathers ontcred the pool despite a warning.
