Spanish Premier Without Majority
DISSOLUTION OF CORTES EXPECTED.
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Oct. 3, 7.45 p.m. MADRID, Oct. 2. Tho Cortes re-opened in an atmosphere of intense excitement and guarded by police. Scnor Lerroux, the new Prime Minister, declared that Spain stood midway between anarchy and dictatorship. Senor Lerroux has not a majority owing to a split among the Radicals and Socialists, and as he will not resign, he is expected to dissolve the Cortes. The Catalan' Cabinet has resigned.
