MELBOURNE, Oct. 3.

Conditions for tho Macßobertson international air race, which will bo a feature of the Melbourne Centenary celebrations, have been released.

The course from England to Australia must be completed within 10 calendar clays. Tho prize-money for tho speed race is £IO,OOO and a gold cup for the first, £ISOO for second, and £SOO for third. First and second prizes of £2OOO and £IOOO respectively are being awarded for the handicap race, payable in Australian currency. Both races are open to any nation or organisation, and there will be no limit on the type, class or power of the machine used. The races will start on approximately October 20, 1934.
