KINGSTON (Jamaica), Oct. 2,
A tropical hurricane, moving at ajbout 50 miles an hour, swept over the western end of Jamaica on Monday, paralysing communication facilities and leaving the remainder of tho colony in a state of anxiety as to tho extent of tho damage.
