Unsettled Conditions Ahead Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An intense anti-cyclone is moving eastward off tho North Island. The pressuro is low over the whole area from South Australia tn the Western Tasman and unsettled conditions extend gradually to New Zealand. Winds: Moderate to strong and increasing northerly winds. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rising in Cook Strait and south of Cape Egraont.

Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong northerly winds and rough seas. Weather: Fine at first in most parts, but gradually becoming unsettled in western districts and the far north and south, with some rain. Temperatures mild.
