Pedigree Ball and Heifer Sale
The attention of dairy farmers is drawn to the Spring National Pedigree Bull and Heifer Sale to be held on the A. and P. Showgrounds, Palmerston North, on Thursday next, the sth. inst., when a particularly choice lot of selected bulls, from the leading breeders in lhe Wellington Province is to be offered. The offering has been very carefully selected and only the best potential herd sires have been accepted. Ifvcry entry is well supported by butterfat records and direct descendants of the Dominion’s best butterfat animals arc strongly in evidence. To mention a few of these, the catalogue shows descendants from the following celebrated animals:— “Hawkcsbury Emperor,” “Soumise Majesty,” “Lcs Nicme’s Emperor/’ “Grannie’s Knight, ‘ ‘ Owlcr of Puketapu,” “Marshal Alden,” ‘Brompton’s Wonderful Oxford,” “ Vivandiere, ”« “Gamboge Lady, : ’ and many others. Breeders and farmers requiring herd sires should not fail to take full advantage of this splendid opportunity of filling their requirements. Tho services of the stud stock experts of tho N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., are at the disposal of purchasers and particularly to those who arc unable to attend the sale personally.
