From Our Own Correspondent, Golf Season Closes, The Rangitikei Golf Club iield its wind-up afternoon on tho link* on ha_ urday when a mixed foursome was hel l. This was won by Mrs. H. T richer and K. J Carter, who received trophies Conateu by Mr. J. M, Croucher. After tea Mr. K, W. Dah-ymple, president, congTatulated those who had won trophies during the season, as follow:—Club championship JS. Trlcker (Amon cup); runnerup a/’k. Drew (Dalryniple, Grant an f Dalrymplo trophy): handicap L-ophy, J. 1 i\r Croucher (Anonymous trophy), tun ner-up R O. Dalrymplo (committee’s trophy) » sealed handicap, Mis* Walke. •wi k J Carter (Mr. F. Branchs trophy) ' Cheers were given for Mr. and \rr~ Tohn Trlcker (on whose property, the links are“ituated)-, and for the various cr’ze winners. Members were th_n entertained at the 19th hole by Mr. J. S. Trickei. Entepta j ners > ciub. A meeting of the Bulls Entertainers’ Club was held on Tuesday. There was a. good attendance and an endeavour is to be made to commence practices at an early date with a view to putting on a show. Several new members joined tip.
