Sensational Arrest Of Friend of Mussolini
CHARGE OF TREASON. United Press Associalion.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, Oct. 5. The Daily Telegraph's Venice correspondent states that the arrest of Comniendatore Donato Battolli, intimate friend and schoolmate of Signor Mussolini, has caused a sensation. He has been transferred to prison at Rome, charged with betraying Italian naval secrets to foreign interests. It is alleged that he traded on his well-known friendship with the Duco to represent himself as engaged in promoting the steel industry. Tho case will be handed to the special tribunal for tho defence of tho .State.
