The Daily Telegraph's Venice correspondent states that the arrest of Comniendatore Donato Battolli, intimate friend and schoolmate of Signor Mussolini, has caused a sensation. He has been transferred to prison at Rome, charged with betraying Italian naval secrets to foreign interests. It is alleged that he traded on his well-known friendship with the Duco to represent himself as engaged in promoting the steel industry.
