GUYLEE—BEEW. With trails of starry white clematis and cherry blossom St. Michael's Church was transformed by friends into a bower of beauty for tho wedding on Thursday afternoon of Trances Annie, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ft. A. Braw, Stanway, and Harold, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Guylee “Ashdene," Waituna West. The wedding created a groat deal of friendly interest and tho little church was tilled to overflowing with well wishers of tho brido and bridegroom who are very popular members of the district's younger people. Canon F. H. Petrie, M.A., performed tho ceremony and Mr. O'. E. Barltrop, of Feilding, uncle of the bridegroom, presided at the organ. The brido made a delightful picture as she proceeded up the aisle accompanied by her father and followed by a retinue of maids. Her simply fashioned princess robe was of ivory crepe gloria with long lace sleeves, a bow of soft satin at the back of the waistline giving a dainty iinish. Tho bridal veil of embroidered tulle (lent by Mrs. W. H. Humphrey) becomingly arranged as a little cap and caught with side posies of orange blossom cascaded over her robe to form a graceful train. Ivory satin shoes, a necklet of pearls and a sheaf of arum lilies completed a very ; charming and girlish toilette. Two little girls, Kathleen Corpo and Noclino James, attended the brido as trainbearers, their frocks of ivory rayon having tight-fitting yoked bodices with short pulfed sleeves and skirts composed of numerous frills. Sashes of apple green faille were worn, necklets of pearls (gifts of tho bridegroom) and their heads were garlanded with tiny pink velvet rosebuds. Miss Joan Gorpe, the second bridesmaid, was frocked in ivory rayon fashioned on similar lines and both wore green faille silk sashes, garlands of pale and deep pink roses and long ropes of crystal beads (gifts of the bridegroom). Their exquisite bouquets were of shaded pink rosebuds, sweet peas, fruit blossom and camellias tied with pink ribbon. Beyyi Corpe, a tiny tot, made the daintiest of flower girls in a frock of primrose crepe do chine with which she wore a string of beads to match, presented by tho bridegroom, a garland of flowers m her hair and carried a posy of yellow primroses. Her very small escort was Kevin James, whoso suit of black velvet had a blouse of tussau silk. Mr. Korman Guylee, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, tho groomsman being Mr. Alfred Humphrey.
