Foxton Talkies

The buoyancy of spirit that seems inseparable from a story of sailormen and their doings is greatly emphasised by tho fine acting of the British and Dominions production “The Flag Lieutenant”, featuring Henry Edwards and Anna Neagle, which is to be at the Foxton Town Hall tonight. Henry Edwards so thoroughly identifies himself with Lascelles, the happy-go-lucky flag lieutenant that it would almost appear as though the story was written for him. Which means that the new production is very sound entertainment. Many units of the British Navy were used in the big naval scenes which are thrilling to the extreme. The following is the list of coming attractions at the Foxton Town Hall:— October 11, "The Phantom President”: October 13 and 14, “The Mummy”; October IS, 'Love on tho Spot”.
