From Our Own Correspondent. On Thursday evening tho Klmbolton Tennis Club Held their Annual Meeting with Mr E. H. Haythorne in tho chair. The Balance Sheet disclosed a credit balance of £5 I G. Officers for tho ensuing year were then elected as follows: Patron, Mr Wm. Hair, president, Mrs E. H. Haythorne, vice-presidents, Mrs Drewitt, Messrs C. L. Matthews, W. J. Beard and W. Hansen senr.; secretary, Mr J. D. Thompson; club captain, Mr G. E. Marshall, committee, Mrs R. Beard, Misses Drewitt, Malcolm, Calder, Messrs W, .T. Hansen, Stan Waugh. After much discussion it was decided to open the courts on Saturday, October 11, and the secretary be instructed to issue invitations to neighboruing clubs. Tho play would be to take the form of a clock tourney starting at 12.30. Tho meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
