WYNDHAM ON WEDNESDAY HOPED FOR United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Sunday, 7 p.m. KARACHI, Oct. 8. Sir Charles Kiugsford Smith landed at 0.59 o’clock this morning from Gawadar Fc. He was not well and was in need of rest. He stayed here till 2.30 p.m. and left for Jodhpur. He hopes to arrive at Wyndham. on Wednesday. His flying timo to Karachi was a little over 70 hours, a new light ’plane record for the journey from England to India. Now on the Way to Akyab Received Monday, 1 a.in. CALCUTTA, Oct. S. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith left Jodhpur early on Sunday morning for Akyr.h, not landing at Calcutta. Euan Wallace left Calcutta at 12.30 for Rangoon. Mollisons’ Long-distance Flight Definitely Off Received Sunday, 7 p.m. TORONTO, Oct. 7. The Mollisons will not attempt a long-distance flight from Wasago'Beach this year, officials of the Do Haviland Aircraft Company announced to-day. The flight is definitely off.
