DEBATE ON WORLD CONFER,ENCE REPORT ON THURSDAY Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. In the House of Representatives this afternoon the Land and Ineotno Tax (Annual) Bill was introduced by Gov-ernor-General’s message. Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes explained that it was necessary that the Bill should be passed before to-morrow. It was not proposed to take any formal business to-day, and after the members had paid tributes to the late Mr H. E. Holland, the House would adjourn as a mark of respect until Thursday afternoon, when the debate on the report of the delegates to tho World Economic and Monetary Conference would bo held. Bt. Hon. J. G. Coates explained that the Bill simply renewed last year’s taxes and it contained no now provisions. The Bill was put through all stages and passed without debate.
