Carnival Notes
POLICE DANCE TO-NIGHT Final arrangements have been made for what is expected to be the most popular of public functions ever held in Palmerston North—namely the Police dance to be held in the Empire hall to-night. As this is their initial effort on behalf of charity the committee have spared no pains to ensure the complete success of their venture .and the dancers attending can rest assured that everything so necessary to having a good time has been arranged for. The music for the dance will be given by Bonner’s full orchestra and manynew and delightful novelties will bo included in the evening’s fun. Tho proceeds of tho dance will go to augment tho funds of tho Public Services Queen (Miss Kathleen Richards), who will be presented by- His Worship the Mayor, Mr. A. E. Mansford, during the evening.
