(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received Wednesday, 7.45 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 11.

According to Press comment, there is still somo dissatisfaction on tho subject of body-lino bowling and tho M.C.C. Teply. At least three members of the Board of Control are reported to be anxious for a special meeting of the board to discuss the latest development,

Messrs. J. Hutcheson, E. Hartigan and W. Kelly expressed dissatisfaction and declare that tho M.C.C. has deliberately evaded the vital point and lias not given a definite assurance that there will be no body-line bowling during the forthcoming English tour. Other cricket authorities, however, regard tho M.C.C.’s reply, as. .satisfactory in all the circumstances and express the opinion that it makes for peace.

Ho Formal Pledge Made

BUT ALL WILL BE RIGHT IN THE FUTURE

Received Wednesday, 10.55 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 11

There is considerable newspaper comment on tho ending of the bodyline bowling controversy.. The Times hopea that the dispute will be quickly forgotten, and adds: “The M.C.C. rightly made no formal pledge limiting the freodom of the captain of the 1934 team or implying censure on tho captain of tho 1933 combination. It is clear that Jardino retains full confidence, but the particular kind of fast leg-bowling which is the subject of tho controversy will be dropped, not because it is illegal, but because it interferes with our Australian friends’ enjoyment of cricket and, consequently, with our own.” The Morning Post, under a heading, “More hunmno cricket,” says that the friendly cables end a great controversy and constitute a treaty of peace on tho “I give that you may give principle.” Tho News-Chronicle says that without admitting any charges or promising any change of rules, tho M.C.C. bland-ly-suggests that all will bo right in the future. “This is the right decision,” tho paper adds.
