Scattered Rain Developing

WELLINGTON, Last Night,

The recent anti-cyclone is now located east of New Zealand, while a wiue westerly depression covers the Tasman Sea and is advancing on to the Dominion.

Winds: Moderate to strong northerly winds reaching gale force at times in places about and south of Cook Strait, backing later to westerlies in the South.

Seas (New Zealand waters): Rough about Cook and Fovcaux Straits, moderate elsewhere, but increasing south of Capo Egmont.

Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate tu strong northerly winds, and moderate to rather rough seas.

• Weather: Fair in eastern districts, but elsewhere unsettled, with scattered rain developing. Temperatures mild.
