WALKER v. RUMBERG NEXT WEDNESDAY NIGHT At the Opera House next Wednesday night, will appear, for positively the last time in New Zealand, the two most prominent of all the good professional wrestlers in the Dominion. Geo. Walker, whose hectic career this season has been one triumph after another is to meet the big American, Hal Rumberg, who put up such a splendid fight against tho banished Jack Patterson a few weeks ago. On tho last occasion that. Walker appeared in our city, hundreds were turned away from the doors and this is now their opportunity to see the champion in action and against a more likely opponent. On the two occasions when Walker and Bumberg have previously met the big American when leading on points, has lost through superior ringcraft, but must be much wiser after his experience, and as ho (Rumberg) has to leave for his homo in America on the following Saturday, this will be the last meeting between tho pair, and likely to be the most strenuous. The box plans will open at the Central Booking Office tomorrow morning to give the country folk an opportunity to book on even terms with their city cousins. As this match ha 3 been the subject of many requests to the local asociation, there is every indication that the hooking will be as heavy as on the last occasion George Walker was here.
