Mr Dodd has received instructions from Washington to make energetic representations regarding the. Brown Shirts’ molestation of an American for failing to salute the Nazi flag. He will state that the United States is not satisfied with apologies, which are always forthcoming. America insists that the assailants be punished and that the nature of the punishment be communicated to him. Britain Protests Against an Assault LONDON, October 12. The British Embassy has protested in writing against the assault made by Nazis on the naturalised Englishman Koenig.
