U.s, BOLIVIAN LOAN APPROVED by state department. WASHINGTON, Oct. 12. Vice-president Hayward, of the Dillon Read Company, to-day stated that tho payment of tho Bolivian Armaments Bill with part of tho proceeds of a bond issuo fioated in the United States by his company was specifically approved by the State Department in ID2B. Ho declared that tho StateDepartment had full information on the armaments debts when a 25,000,000dollar Bolivian loan was floated five years ago. This issuo was now in default. The company had derived 255,565 dollars’ profit by tho flotation.
