Church Services

Tho subject at tho United Evangelical Church in the morning at 11 a.m. to-morrow will bo "Praise and Prayer.” The pastor, Mr. Wesley E. Richards, will preach. At 7 p.m. his subject will be a continuation of his special addresses on God’s Plan of the Ages, tho special aspect to-morrow night being "From the Cross to the Coming,” "Grace Reigns.” As this is the most glorious dispensation of God’s governmental dealings with mankind, this subject will bo the most interesting of all. Already great interest has been awakened in these subjects which arc illustrated by a large canvas chart 20ft. long. It is expected that keener interest will bo developed.in to-morrow night’s address owing to tho aspect of k which deals with things immediately before the world at the present moment. All aro given a warm invitation.

At Emmanuel Congregational Church, Broadway, to-morrow, Rev. C. G. 11. Bycroft will conduct both services. At 11 o’clock tho subject will be “Preaching Christ and tho Result.” At 7 o’clock the subject will be “The Ivory Palaces” and tho garments of the King. The duet, ‘ ‘lvory Palaces, ’’ will bo rendered by Mr. and Mrs. Lyon. The choir will also render the anthem. A very warm invitation is extended to visitors and strangers to tho city to worship at the Congregational Church, Broadway.

Mr. YV. Hibburt, Dominion director of youth work in the Associated Churches of Christ, will be the speaker both morning and evening in tho Church of Christ to-morrow. Mr. Hibburt, who is a specialist, and an expert in his work, will malco a strong appeal to young men and women. Plans are well in hand for tho big youth convention on Labour week-end. Delegates are expected from all parts of the island. Full details of special meetings will appear later in this paper.' * To-morrow is, in the Presbyterian Church, set aside as a special day for prayer for Bible Classes. St. Andrew’s Bible Classes are starting the .day with a morning prayer meeting at 7 a.m., if fine in the Square. To this the members of'the congregation are invited. The morning meeting at 9.45, will be a combined one and Mr. D. W. Low will give an address. At the usual morning service Rev. G. T. Brown, M.A., will preach on “The Shallow Heart,” while his talk to tho children will bo on “The Cost of tho Best.” The evening service will bo a special Masonic scrvjco when Mr. Brown will preach on “jFhe Divine.
