Mr David Stacey Colman, of Shrewsbury School and Balliol College, Oxford, has been appointed headmaster of Melbourne Grammar School at a salary of £1250, with residence.Pickpockets’ hands are now tinted scarlet in Roumania, and in case the culprits use gloves their ears are also coloured as danger signals. The dye is renewed monthly for a year.
