AMELIA EARHART OUTLINES HER ROUTE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Friday, 7 p.m. NEW YORK, Feb. 11. Amelia Earhart, the American aviatrix, informed the Australian Associated Press that she will fly to Australia departing early in March from Oakland. She will touch Honolulu and then proceed to Howland Island and thereafter Lao, New Guinea and Port Darwin. From there she will turn back immediately, proceeding by the usual Imperial Airways route to India and thence to Dakka in Africa. Natal in Brazil, and Mexico and Miami. Captain Manning, veteran merchant marine officer, will act as navigator across the Pacific and only leave her when they reach Australia. MOLLISON TO APPEAR IN FILM. Received Friday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 11. Stipulating that he must do more flying than acting, James Mollison has contracted for a leading part in the first film produced by British Independent Exhibitors, Ltd. KING’S CUP FOR AIR RACE. (British Official Wireless.) Received Friday 7 p.m. RUGBY, Feb. 11. The King has notified the Royal Aero Club of his desire to give a cup annually for the aeroplane contest known as the King’s Cup air race, inaugurated in 1922 by King George V. \ To mark the Coronation year, Lord Wakefield will offer prizes for this race of £2OOO Instead of £IOOO as in previous years. PLANE CRASHES IN STREET SHOCKING BERLIN TRAGEDY. BERLIN, February 11. A military 'plane struck a high tension wire and crashed in flames in a busy Berlin street. The five occupants were killed and burning petrol seriously injured a number of pedestrians.
