Plunket Society Monthly Meeting

The monthly meeting of the Plunket Society was held in the Borough Council Chambers last week, Mrs J. D. C. Crewe presiding. Apologies were received from Mesdames Vaughan, E. B. Watson, W. H. Watson, Stewart, Eilers and L. Whittingtou (Woodville). Nurse McDonald reported having paid 24 visits to homes, while visits to rooms were 105 adults, 100 babies and eight older children. There were six new cases for the month of January. Ab the branch is badly in need of funds, it was decided to hold a garden party in Mr and Mrs J. D. Wilson’s beautiful grounds, which they kindly placed at the disposal of the committee. In the event of the day being wet a shop will be held instead.
