Inquiry Into Loss Of the Scow Rangi
• ASSESSORS APPOINTED Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Minister of Marine, Hon. P. Fraser, announced to-day that an inquiry into the Joss of the scow Rangi, which was wrecked off Rakino Island on the night of January 14 resulting in the loss of four lives, will be held by Mr. R. McKeen, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland, commencing at 10 a.m. next Wednesday. The following have been appointed assessors: Captain G. Sorenson, Captain F, B. G Jensen and Mr. T. F. Anderson.
