Croquet Competitions

PAHIATUA club entertains. Croquet players spent a most enjoyiblo day on Tuesday at Pahiatua, when a number of visitors from Eketahuna and Woodville were present to take part in competitions and half-hour games on the local club’s lawn. Despite the wfcafher', pliy 4 Was ■ excellent and all enjoyed themselves. In the half-honr games Mrs. J. t>. C. Crewe was successful in winning one section, and Miss Anderson, an Eketahnna visitor, won the other. Mrs. Hansen, also of Eketahuna, won another competition and Mrs. Cittadini and Mrs. Rutherford . were successful in the ‘hurry-scarry V competition. During the afternon the visitors were entertained at afternoon tea.
