V. de Candole gavo an interesting lantern talk abmjt Lincoln Cathedral where the speaker and Canon Woodward were ordained. Impromptu talks on subjects drawn from the table by an equal number of speakers from each club proved interesting and instructive. Tho adjudicators’ award went to Messrs. Pass and Bwinburn. The jolce competition trophy was awarded to Mr. R. D. .Ferguson. .Musical items were rendered by the Harmonica Band and Songs contributed by Messrs. Merton and Henderson. Mr. 11. E. Bennett

caused merriment by his humorous des- I eription of a court case. Supper was served after the chairman had thanked all who had contributed to the success of tho gathering. Air. C. W. Teppett olllciated at tho piano in his usual efficient manner. <
