BURMA REBELS

BEING ROUNDED UP (United Press Association—By Eleotrlo Telegraphy-Copyright) DELHI, 31st December. Troops and police are blocking and guarding passes from Pega to Yoma with the object of surrounding the Burma rebels and compelling them to surrender or pen them up in the jungle where food and water are scarce.

Rebel casualties at present are estimated at 175 dead and 75 wounded. The Government forces have two dead and six wounded.
