WATER SUPPLY FAILS
FIRE AT LISMORE (United Press Association—By Electric # Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 7th January 10.45 a.m.) ' SYDNEY This Day. Damage estimated at £9OOO was caused by a fire at Lismore. A two-sloried wooden building and two shops were destroyed and other buildings were damaged. When the brigade arrived the fire had a very slight hold hut the town water supply failed and water had to he pumped from the liver.
