DECREASE IN DIVORCES
FIGURES IN NEW SOUTH WALES THE DEPRESSION BLAMED (United Presß Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 7th January, 10.35 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. After successive years of increase the number of divorce petitions in New South Wales during 1930 showed a decided decrease. Of 1783 petitions lodged 1601 were disposed of. There were 1925 petitions fded in 1929. The depression is blamed lor the drop.
