DIVING ACCIDENT
WOMAN SEVERELY GASHED (By Telegraph—Press Association) MASTERTON, Bth January. While diving in the Mangatua Stream, Miss Dorothy Gardner, of Woodville, struck a snag or a rock. She was severely gashed across the loin and abdomen, necessitating the insertion of between 30 and 40 stitches.
