DIRECTION OF UNMARRIED * WOMEN

Wellington, This Day. Auckland is to take the same steps for the staffing of its new hospitals as have alreadj* been taken in Wellington. All unmarried women aged 21 to 23 in the Auckland Manpower District are to be called iq for interview immediately, classified in order of priority of individual circumstances, and directed to meet the urgent staffing needs of the 391 h General Hospital in accordance with their priority classifications. This was announced by the Minister of Industrial Manpower (Mr McLagan).—P. A.
