FISHING AT WAITAKI. (By Jock M'Kenzif.)
Since my last report (October 31st) the fishing has been -very good, and the majority of angleis have had rare sport. The kawhai aie now about at the mouth of the n\er. They atlbrd good sport to fishermen, as moie skill is required to t.ike the kaw hai than the trout, and on th.it account the fishing ground at the mouth is much frequented by anglers who geneially make a big haul of both tiout and kawhai.
