SEVERAL PROMOTIONS APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Thursday Included among appointments and promotions of officers tit the New Zealand military forces gazetted to-night are the following:STAFF APPOINTMENTS Major G. R. Rowbotlmm, Loyal Artillery, is appointed to command an anti-aircraft brigade with the local rank ot colonel. Lieutenant-Colonel \ . A. oung. M.C., Royal Artillery, is appointed to « command in the Southern Military District with the rank of colonel. Major E. Le Davios, Royal Artillery, is appointed to command an anti-air-craft brigade with the local rank of colonel. Lieutenant-Colonel H. E. rernyhough, Royal Artillery, acting-com-mandant of the New Zealand Stall C ollege, is appointed commandant with the local rank of colonel. SECOND N.Z.E.F. APPOINTMENTS Brigadier K. MacCormick, C.8.E.. D.5.0., is appointed Director of Medical Services. Lieutenant-Colonel I'. A. Ardagh, D.5.0., M.C., is to be Assistant Director of Medical Services. Lieutenant-Colonel L. J. Hunter is to command a casualty clearing station. Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel C. M. Williamson is to command a base camp. Major 13. Harrington is to be Deputy Assistant Quartermaster-General, New Zealand Division. Lieutenant-Colonel I). T. Maxwell, to be colonel; Lieutenant-Colonel !•'. Prideaux, to be colonel; Major J. S. Martin, M.8.E., to be lieutenant-colonel; Major 11. \V. I). Lake, to be temporary lieutenant-colonel. Major R. L. ('. Grant, to lu« second in command of a Divisional Signals unit; Major S. J. Hedge, to be Deputy Assistant Quartermaster-General ol the base camp; Major ('. G. Rryor. to command a signal school: Temporary Major 1. A. Hart, to be second in command of an infantry training depot; Major J. E. R. Sprosen, to command a field regiment; Major L. 13. Ballantyne, to command a composite training depot: Major H. E. Crosse. M.C.. to command a reception depot; Major E. E. Walden, to command an infantry training depot; Major E. T. Kensington, to command a field regiment; Major L. X. McKay, to command an artillery training depot; Major 1. O. Manson, to command a battalion; Major J. S. King. M.13.E., is appointed General Staff Officer, first grade, of the base camp: Major D. E. Harper, to command an Engineer and Ordnance depot.
