THE Directors of the Australian Mutual Provident Society, having had under consideration the late legal decision in the Court of Common Pleas in “ Pritchard v. The Merchant’s and Tradesman’s Assurance Society,” beg to notify to the Members and the Public generally, that the following is and has been, the practice of their Office, viz.: — To allow without prejudice to the interest of the assured, 30 days for the payment of a premium after the time stipulated in the policy, and in the event of the life assured dying during the days of grace, the sum assured will be paid after deduction of the premium then due on the year.
