FIRE.

At a quarter-past 11 o’clock last night smoke was noticed in tne chart-room of the ’Union Company’s qollier Foherua, berthed at No. 12, Queen’s d’harf. . Constable O’Hara and Watchman Bourko succeeded in extinguishing tho outbreak of fire with tho Harbour Board hose. The fire apparently originated in a couple of sacks of ship’s linen. In audition to the latter being burnt in places, tho only damage caused was slight singeing of tho chart-room coiling.
