THE WEATHER.
Fine weather prevailed at Wellington yesterday. A light northerly breeze continued throughout the day, hut veered to tho north-west at night. At 5 p.m. Kaikoura reported a light north-easterly breeze, fine weather, and slight swell at sea. New Plymouth a light south-west-erly breeze, fine weather, and smooth sea.
