Jockey Club Handicap—Black and Red, 1; Cannon Shot, 2 ; Sequin, 3. Daunt and Tirant d'Kau were scratched. Won by three lengths, a neck between second and third. Time, lmin 50 3-sth sec. Dividend, Ll7 12s. Canterbury Cup- - Multiform, 1; Nestor, 2; Swordfish 11., 3. Only starters; won hard held. Time, 4min 25sec. Dividend, LI 3s 6d.
