OAMABU Matt. OFFICE, Monday afternoon. There haa been very little doing in commercial circles during the week, the markets all round being slack and transactions very limited. If anything, the tendency as resards both, wheat and oats is easier, but the alteration is of so slight a character as not to appreciably affect prices. Barley is not offering, and quotations are nominal. _ Potatoes are scarce, and command good prices. We quote : Wheat Tuscan and velvet, 3s 7d to 3a 8d; red straw, 3s 6d to 3s 8d; good whole fowls', 3s (at sidings.) Oats—Prime short oats, 2s 6d to 2s sd ; Danish, 2s 4d to 2s 6d; Duns, 2s 7d to 2s 8d; Tartars, 2s 6d to 2s 8d (delivered at store, sacks extra). Barley—Prime malting, 4s to 4s 9d j good feed, 2s to 2s 6d. Hour—Roller, LlO 10s ; Stone, LI less. Potatoes. —L7 10s to L 8 at country stations (sacks in). Dairy Produce—Butter, prime factory, lOd ? local factory, 9d; dairy, 6d to 7d. Eggs, 7<L Pork, 4d (market over).
