Crown Prince, by the famous Lord Salisbury, imported' from Scotland, and who was never beaten either in Sootland or New Zealand The dam of Crown Prince was Damsel, imported from Scotland and cost 500 guineas at Lord Dunmore's sale. She was reckoned the best mare in Scotland.
