The Weather.
Captain Edwin telegraphs to-day as follows: Wind, —Strong from between N.E. and N. and W, at all places north of Napier and New Plymouth, and from between W, and S.W. and S. at all other places. Barometer.—Further fall at all places north of East Cape, Taupo, and New Plymouth ; rise slowly from thence southward. Sea.—Heavy on western coast north of Westport and on east coast south of East Cape. Tides. —High on western coast north of Cape Egmont; low from thence to Foxton; moderate south of Westport; good on east coast south of East Cape; moderate elsewhere.
