Accidents and Fatalities
(BY TELEGRAPH.) Dunedin, November 21.
Mrs Collins, who was gored by a cow at fouth Dunedin last week, died in the hospital yesterday. Harriett Matthews, a widow, aged 65, was found dead in bed last night Thames, November 21.
James M'Niece, aged 62, an old and respected resident, accidentally poisoned himself on Saturday night, by taking carbolic acid in mistake for beer. At the inquest, the verdict was accidental death.
