A vote of thanks was passed to the retiring Secretary (Mrs N. M. Orbell). A letter.was received from the Navy League Headquarters, London, thanking ; the. Branch for its donations of iJioney and comforts for the sailors. After a discussion as to the propriety of holding the annual social- itwas decided to leave it in the hands of the Committee, it being understood that'should bad news be received in re-gaxd"-to the local contingent the social should be dropped.
