SHIPPING SPACE PRESSURE.

Canterbury producers waited on the Premier this afternoon and represented' that owing to the drought the position is very serious, and unless something is done to relieve the shipping space pressure serious loss would ensue. Mr Massey promised to do all in his power to meet, the requests. May was the worst- month the Government had experienced, and he did not expect much relief until the number of ships were increase in June.
