Pek Pbess Association. Christehurch. Hay 0. At the Court to-day John Ecroyd claimed from J. H. Fabling, metaphysician, the sum of £9 7s, the amount paid to defendant for mental treatment lor epilepsy, and no cure effected. Plaintiff alleged that defendant fraudulently represented the. treatment beneficial for the complaint-. but knew that it was valueless and therefore of no benefit. Mr Bishop, _said' he did not understand metaphysics, hut there might bo something in it. So man who was sane coukl think lie was able to cure epilepsy by mental suggestion. Verdict for plaintiff.
