AMUSEMENTS.
There was another large attendance at the Picture Palace last evening, when the series headed by "Old Re liable" was screened to the evident satisfaction of all present. The star "film is an excellent number and well deserves the praise it has received during the season in Oamaru. -and its screening elsewhere. ' The programme throughout is one of general merit and interest, and should attract many to the final screening to-night. "When the Men Left Town, a, striking comedy storv by the Edison Company heads the list to be shown at the Opera House to-night. It is a remarkably fine production, and is supported by "an excellent programme, including a "Topical Budget," "For King and Countrv." "A Study in Costumes,' etc.. a'.:l of which are well up to the usual high standard for wlhich the Opera House is w<Hl known. Special music will laecompany the films.
