OAMARU HARBOR BOARD.
ANNUAL .MEETING
The Oamani Harbor Board met tin* morning for its amuuil mooting, the business beinci'thp election of Chairman .ami Deputy-Chairman, for the ensuing year. Mr Jtobort Milligan presided, and there were Jflso present Messrs E. Lane, A. Mackav. G. Livingstone. \\ . H. Frith, K. T. Oats, and T. A. Mwno. •Vil npolcav was received from Air J. G. Xicolls.' Mr Geo. Livhmste.no proposed that Mr Milliaan. be re-elected chairman, lie liyed eoiirenieutly near and filled the position admirably. Mr T. A. Mmiro seconded the motion, which was earned unanimously. Mr Milligan said he was quite prepared to accept the Board's decision. He took tin hv unanimous vote as an_ expression of confidence in him. "While the war was continuing it was not possible to adopt a heroic programme, but when the time came tiiey would take n determined stand to improve tln.tr port. It was gratifying to see such, careful attention being given to all harbor affairs by members. On the motion of Mr \V. H. Frith, seconded.by Mr A. Mackay. Mr J. M. Brown was elected Deputy-Chairman. The. Board then discussed .several matters in Committee.
