Momentum, the imported Clydesdiale .stallion, which, is to be offered at the Boundary Creek sale on Thursday next, was brought out from Scotland several seasons ago. Almost immediately on his arrival, he was shown at the Dunedin Horse Parade and gained honorable mention. Momentum is ,a splendid 1 type of the modern Clydesdale- of the true Scottish- stamp. Brackenr.'dge, another of Mr Dalgleish's importations, was bred at Strathavon. .Through hi-.-.sire he relates back to Baron's Pride and on the dam's side he descends .from the. celebrated Hiawatha. Bracken.ridg■• therefore combines the blood of two of the most celebrated lines in Scotland. Auchfiiicreive, another imported stallion, has an enviable pedigree. 1n the I'oii'g Est of colts and fillies to be offered the names* of such sires- as Pride of Moray. Macaulav, Shepherd L-'id. Royal '"Derby and Agitator appear, and therefore no further recommendation is liFces'sary. Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. will conduct the sale. which will commence at 12 o'chok.
