THE BLOCKADE.
The Hague, May 11. Germany lias informed Holland that the Katwvk was sunk by mistake. She has expressed regret and offered compensation. Received May 11, at 3.15 p.m. London, May 10.
The -British steamer Queen Wilhclmina has been" sunk in the North Sea. She withstood considerable shelling, but eventually a second torpedo blew hetup. Her crew were allowed time to take to the boats. Fremantle, May 12. Shortly after starting the voyage the Osterlv passed a steamer settling after being torpedoed in the Bay of Biscay. After being warned to beware of a. decoy vessel she sighted a small steamer flying distress signals and asking for help because her rudder was allegedly damaged by a torepdo, but the Osterley swung round and the stranger cleared off.
